Samsung celebrates International Women’s Day in Bangladesh

With a mission to ensure gender parity and women empowerment, Samsung Bangladesh has observed International Women’s Day on March 8. Samsung raises awareness amongst its women customers by following the theme of ‘I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Right’.

Samsung gave gifts to all women customers to fill their day with joy. Female customers who acquired Samsung services through different outlets and got repaired any consumer products via Samsung’s In-Home (IH) service, has received these gifts as an appreciation for their influence in the society. The company has also conveyed special greetings to all women customers from its call center.

Women who had taken Samsung service from 36 nationwide authorized service centers and all the customers who have received IH services, were given gifts of roses and chocolate to boost up their morale and motivate them for all their hard works.


On this occasion, Mr. Seung Won Youn, Country Manager – Samsung Bangladesh said, “Women all over the world are putting positive footprints in society, however, their contributions are often not recognized. It is of utmost importance for everyone to acknowledge the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. Hence, we are extremely pleased to bring some kind of joy into the lives of our female customers on International Women’s Day.”
