Apollo Hospitals Dhaka organized Patient Forum for Paediatric Cardiology

Apollo Hospitals Dhaka organized a Patient forum for Paediatric Cardiology Department which was held on January 10, 2019, where keynote speech was delivered by Clinical and Interventional Paediatric Cardiologist Dr. Tahera Nazrin.

Dr. Tahera said, “Heart diseases of children are curable and preventable. Unusual holes in the heart if detected and closed timely can lead the child to have a normal life.” Such holes can be closed by using devices and the patient needs to be in the hospital for only two days.

The hospital provides a package where devices are available at a very subsidized price for children from the underprivileged segment.

A panel of renowned cardiologists and physicians including Prof. Dr. A.Q.M Reza, Coordinator & Senior Consultant – Cardiology; Dr. Ratnadeep Chaskar, COO; and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Istiaque Hossain, Coordinator & Senior Consultant – Paediatrics were present and shared experiences.
