Nobojagoron Foundation distributed new clothes among poor Hindu children on the occasion of upcoming Durga puja

Nobojagoron Foundation, a voluntary organization of Rajshahi University on Saturday distributed new clothes among poor Hindu children on the occasion of upcoming Durga puja, the largest religious festival of the Hindu community.

The distribution ceremony was held at University’s Sayed Ismail Hossain Siraji Bhaban at around 3 pm. The new clothes were given to 60 poor children who were unable to buy new cloth during the largest festival of Hindu community.

RU Pro-VC Professor Ananda Kumar Saha addressed the ceremony as chief guest while student adviser professor Dr. Laila Arjuman Banu, Social Work department Professor Dr. Sadequl Arefin Matin,  Statistics department Professor Monimul Haq, Law department assistant professor Sadiqul Islam Sagor and members of the organization were also present at the function.
