Rohingya man hacked to death in Bangladesh

A group of unidentified people have hacked a Rohingya man to death at a refugee camp at Ukhiya in Cox’s Bazar.
Police recovered the body of Arif Ullah, 34, on Monday evening on being informed by the residents of the Balukhali-11 camp at Palongkhali.

Ukhiya Police Station OC Md Abul Khayer said the assailants attacked Arif, who was the head of the ‘C’ block in the camp, with sharp weapons.

He said the Rohingya refugees at the block could not say who killed Arif and why.

The body was sent to Cox’s Bazar General Hospital for post-mortem examination, he added.
