Huawei launches its first Android Go smartphone Y3 2018 in Bangladesh

To give everyone smartphone a reality, Huawei launches its first Android Go Smartphone Y3 2018 worldwide along with Bangladesh market.

It is the updated version of Y3 2017 that came to market last year. Huawei Y3 2018 is built up with the lighter version of android “Android Go”. Basically, the smartphone runs Go version of Android Oreo (8.1).

Huawei Y3 2018 is available in grey and gold color variants. It is an entry-level smartphone that sports a 5-inch sized display. In terms of optics, Huawei Y3 2018 features an 8-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and 2-megapixel camera at the front.

The smartphone comes with 1.1 GHz Quad-Core Processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via micro SD card. All features of 4G technology can be used in this 4G enabled smartphone.

Despite having less RAM and ROM, the special feature of this smartphone is to have an access to all features of android through Android Go. Huawei Y3 2018 will give the users more pleasure and flexibility because Android Go operating system demands less space in the ROM resulting more places free to use.

About the phone, Mr. Aaron, Country Director of Huawei Consumer Business Group (Bangladesh) said, “We have a vision where we see android devices in every hand. Keeping this in mind, we are using ‘Android go’ OS in our Y3 2018. Along with the global launch, we have introduced this one in Bangladesh Market too. Not everyone has the ability to buy flagship phones and so, low priced ‘Android go’ is the solution. We have implemented this concept in Y3 2018.”

Y3 2018 will be available in all Huawei brand shops and outlets in 64 districts of the country. Customer can buy this attractive smartphone at BDT 8,890 with 1-year warranty, expandable for 1 year more by adding BDT 300 with the original price.
