SMUCT GDM department organized first photography exhibition titled “Beautiful Bangladesh”

A three-day long photography exhibition titled ‘Beautiful Bangladesh’ was organized by the Department of Graphic Design and Multimedia of Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT).

The Vice Chairman of Shanto Mariam Foundation Dr. Ahsanul Kabir inaugurated the exhibition on 1st of April and ended at 3rd of April. This exhibition was held at the campus No.5 of Uttara Sector 5.


A total number of 58 photographs of different semester students of graphic design and multimedia department were displayed in the exhibition. In the exhibition, photographers focused on the beautiful nature of Bangladesh highlighted in different ways, in the different areas of the country, the oppressed people, the flower-birds-hills and the river.

In the exhibition display, there was aesthetics and professionalism. Especially in each film was a different perspective. Shanto Mariam Foundation Vice Chairman Dr. Ahsanul Kabir and the visiting guests visited the photographs and talked about their pictures with the photographers. He praised the professionalism of all.

Organizers and photographers said that we were more eager to hear criticisms than appreciating our work. Because we have to learn from these. Today’s experience will teach us in many ways, including understanding about photo languages and to know more about organizing skills.
