Tisa Dewan to release her first singles this Baishakh

It all started when Tisa Dewan uploaded her own performance of a song titled ‘Alo’ of popular singer Tahsan Khan on Youtube. Now she is recording her own original song. She comes from a small village in the mountainous Rangamati area, from where she uploaded the video on social media.

She became an internet sensation overnight. Everything has been like a dream ever since then for this young girl as thousands of viewers recognized her talent and shared the video profusely. It didn’t take long to reach Tahsan. The artist was surprised and impressed at the same time, which made him rush to Rangamati to meet this talented young girl who was so fond of his music.

With the help of leading mobile service provider Grameenphone, the entire internet watched the first encounter of these two talented individuals. Together they sang the song was again. The whole world witnessed how the dream of a young girl from a remote village came true. The newly formed ‘duo’ also performed a track by Azam Khan as a tribute to the legendary pop singer.

But Tisa’s dream run didn’t stop there. Her outstanding performance on the track ‘Alo’ paved the way to creating her own original music. Grameenphone again stepped forward to help her to come to Dhaka to sing on a record produced by Shaker Reza. The track is based on the festival of Boishakh and will be featured on Grameenphone’s Facebook page on the April 14th.

An elated Tisa said,”I’ve never thought that uploading my video would receive such a massive response. Nothing can be more pleasurable than recording my own song during the biggest New Year festival of the country.”
