Australian always a difficult opponents: Shakib

Country’s most celebrated all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was brave enough to admit that Australian are always a difficult opponent and it would going to be a very challenging series for them.

“Whatever team Australia brings and in whatever situation they are always a very difficult opponent.there is no better team in the world than Australia when it comes to being able to adapt to various places. So this is a very challenging series for us,” said the all-rounder while talking to the reporters.

The Bangladesh’s premium all-rounder thought cricket is now followed more closely and intensely in Bangladesh than in India.


He said: “The way cricket fans are following Tigers and cricket, I think even in India it’s not following like that. So, cricket comes before everything else in Bangladesh right now.”

The star world’s leading all rounder in all three format, Shakib said it is a big achievement the way Bangladesh has transformed over the years facilities to support staffs, coaches the fans and even the reporters for this progress of cricket in the country.

The dashing southpaw opener is now verge of setting a landmark as he is preparing to play in his 50th Test paid lavish tribute to everyone for Bangladesh cricket reaching this level. Not only cricketers but also organizers, club officials, BCB, NSC, Sports ministry, government and fans all played their part for this achievement for the country not only for the past 10 or 11 years but even before that.
