Maldivian Vogue model Raudha Athif found dead in Bangladesh

Police recovered the hanging body of a foreign female student from a hostel room of Islami Bank Medical College and Hospital (IBMC) in Naudapara area of Rajshahi on March 29.

The deceased was identified as Raudha Athif, 20, a Maldivian model and featured in Vogue magazine.

IBMC administrative official Abdul Aziz Riaz told that Raudha was also a second-year student of MBBS 13th batch in the college.

Raudha’s roommates went to her room this morning in search of her and discovered her hanging body after breaking in the room’s door. On information, Shah Makhdum thana police rushed to hostel room no-209 in the first floor and recovered the body around 12:30pm. Police is investigating the matter, said the official.
