In answer to a question Dr. Purabi says, if the decision-making power of the womenfolk is ensured regarding the reproductive health issues if proper utilization of the current govt. and non-govt. health facilities is ensured for the women if voluntary activities and community participation are increased then female health will be preserved well and their personal expenses in this purpose will be reduced. Dr. Purabi described her experiences of one decade back in such a way,‘The mass ignorance on reproductive health care surprised me. Women were ignorant, hesitant and sometimes financially incapable of receiving the health service from the physician.  As a result of delaying they face complex health problems, treatment cost, and sufferings increases even their lives become at stake.’
