3rd solo painting exhibition by Alomgir Hossain launched at Drik Gallery

“Distorted Melody”, a solo painting exhibition by Alomgir Hossain started on 29 July, 2016, Friday day at 5:30 pm at Drik Gallery. It is his 3rd Solo exhibition so far.

Prominent art critic Moinuddin Khaled, Artist Nisar Hossain, Assistant Professor (DU) Nasinul Khabir inaugurated the exhibition as Guests of Honor.


Artist Alomgir borne in Dhaka and completed his B,Sc in Fine Arts from Bangladesh Academy Of Fine Arts (BAFA).

Md. Alomgir Hossain already awarded as Honorable Mention Award in 11th Shilpi Rashed Smriti Award 2015. previously he did his two solo exhibition titled “Perception of Time” and “Lines from Life” respectively in 2014 & 2015. also Alomgir participated in several group exhibitions.

The exhibition ‘Distorted Melody will remain open for all from 29 July 2016. Daily from 3 pm to 8 pm.
