Starwood hotels & resorts’ tech-forward aloft brand arrives in syracuse

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.®  announced its rapidly growing Aloft brand has made its debut in Syracuse, New York, within the new Inner Harbor waterfront development. Aloft Syracuse Inner Harbor features 132 spacious, loft-like rooms, accessible technologies and live music at W XYZ Bar. The new Aloft will be joined by Element Syracuse Inner Harbor in the spring of 2018. Both hotels are owned by affiliates of COR Development Company, LLC, and managed byReal Hospitality Group, LLC.

The new Aloft is a key component of COR Development’s $350 million redevelopment of the Inner Harbor, a project that is transforming a 30-acre waterfront property into a world-class tourism destination. The development will also include educational facilities and several mixed-use complexes with office, retail and residential components. Just over one mile from downtown Syracuse, Aloft Syracuse Inner Harbor is within close proximity of Destiny USA, a major shopping and entertainment destination with more than 1.3 million square feet of outlets, restaurants and retail stores. Guests will also enjoy easy access to NBT Bank Stadium,Armory Square, Syracuse University, SUNY Upstate Medical University and several leading hospitals.

Aloft Syracuse Inner Harbor features SPG Keyless—Starwood’s industry-first keyless entry system that enables guests to use their smartphone or Apple watch as a room key—and fast and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. The hotel offers 690 square feet of meeting space, a Splash pool, a Re:chargeSM fitness center and Re:fuelSMby Aloft – a one-stop gourmet grab & go food and beverage area. In addition, guests will enjoy live, local music at the brand’s signature W XYZ® bar as part of the signature Live At Aloft Hotels music series.
